    Domenico Lombardo is a physicist and materials engineer in the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) within the Department of Chemical Sciences and Materials Technologies (ITALY). His research activity is focused on both experimental and theoretical investigation of the self-assembly (and supramolecular) processes of nanostructured and hybrid (inorganic-inorganic) bio-materials, and study of the soft interaction between polymer nanocarriers and biological membranes. He repeatedly participated at various expert committees at the national/international level. He acts as a consultant, reviewer and editorial board member in various peer-reviewed international scientific journals.

    Zafar Ahsan is a former Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Aligarh Muslim University, India, where he completed his Ph.D. in Mathematics in 1979. He has previously served as a Visiting Associate at the Inter-University Centre of Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune (1996–2005); a UGC Visiting Professor at Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Anand (2004–2005); and as a Visiting Professor at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (October–December, 2016). At present, Prof. Ahsan is a Research Fellow at Institut Sains Islam Malaysia. Professor Ahsan is a life member of several learned societies including the Indian Association of General Relativity and Gravitation, the Astronomical Society of India, International Electronic Engineering Mathematical Society, and the Tensor Society of India. Further, he has served as Editor-in-Chief of the Aligarh Bulletin of Mathematics (2012–2015), Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Tensor Society of India (2010–2012) and Managing Editor of the Aligarh Bulletin of Mathematics (1998–2012). He is currently Editor, Palestine j. Mathematics and a member of the editorial boards of several journals, including the Global Journal of Advanced Research on Classical and Modern Geometries, the Islamic University of Gaza Journal of Natural and Engineering Studies, and the Bulletin of the Calcutta Mathematical Society and the Journal of the Calcutta Mathematical Society. With over 40 years of teaching experience, he has published seven books and over 100 research papers in several international journals of repute. His research interests are in gravitational waves, symmetries of space–time, exact solutions of Einstein equations, tetrad formalisms and differential geometric structures in general relativity. His current research interest, apart from General Relativity and Gravitation, is in the Qur’an, Science and Modern Cosmology. Professor Ahsan is the President of Anjuman Faroogh-e-Science (Association for Promotion of Science), Aligarh branch; and has been a Council Member of the Indian Association for General Relativity and Gravitation (2002–2006). He is the recipient of the Nishan-e-Azad award (2017) for the promotion of science in Urdu; the International Einstein Award for Scientific Achievement (2011); the Rashtriya Gaurav Award (2007); the Shiksha Rattan Puraskar (2007); and the Best Citizens of India award (2006, 2007, 2008). He is a Member of the Research Board of Advisers, American Biography Institute (USA) and the Life Time President of the Tensor Society of India.

    Dr Pfrang’s research is in the area of gas-phase and heterogeneous atmospheric chemistry currently focusing on the fate of atmospheric aerosols and their impacts on air quality and climate change. He is also studying reactions of initiators of atmospheric oxidation (in particular ozone and nitrate radicals) with volatile organic compounds (VOCs), e.g. stress-induced plant emissions. Experimental studies mainly using levitation, monolayer, X-ray & neutron scattering techniques are complemented by computational work predicting the kinetic behaviour of species of atmospheric importance (e.g. co-developing the aerosol models K2-SUB, KM-SUB and KM-GAP). Dr Pfrang is also aiming to link atmospheric chemistry to related research topics in meteorology, environmental & plant sciences to advance the understanding of the urban environment.

    Dr. Jian Xie is the specially hired researcher from school of Wu zhonghua and School of Energy Power and Mechanical in North China Electric Power University. He is the winner of Wu Zhonghua Scholarship and Chen Xuejun outstanding paper award. His research interest focuses on droplet dynamics and phase change heat transfer on functional materials with micro/nano structures. His contributions include: proposing theoretical mode selection criterion between droplet sliding and rolling; linking shock wave with microstructure parameters during droplet impacting porous membrane; improving dropwise condensation heat transfer model on nanostructure surface; obtaining controllable dropwise condensation and self-organizing droplet arrays on heterogeneous surface, etc. In the past few years, Dr. Jian Xie has undertaken or participated several foundations from National Natural Science Foundation of China and Ministry of Science and Technology. In recent years, he published over 40 SCI papers and served as guest editor for some SCI journals. Dr. Jian Xie has been invited to give keynote pretentions for 2019 ASME International Conference of Micro/Nanoscale Heat and Mass Transfer, 2018 International Conference on Nanomaterials & Nanotechnology and 2017 International Symposium of Fluids and Thermal Engineering. He is also invited to perform the IAAM Award Lecture for the coming 31st American Advanced Materials Congress.

    Shi-Lun Guo is a professor in China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) in Beijing. He joined in his Institute in 1961. He started to study Solid State Nuclear track Detectors (SSNTD) in 1965. He established the first laboratory in China on Fission Track Dating (FTD). He got the first radioactive age of Peking Man at Zhoukoudian in China by fission track method. This age was waited for 50 years by archaeologists. He got the first age of ancient man in Baise, China by fission track dating. This datum breached the theory on human evolution proposed 50 year ago. He started to study nuclear track membranes (NTM) in 1984. He helped to establish the first firm in China to produce filtration devices with nuclear track membranes for medical uses. This firm is the biggest firm in China for applications of nuclear track membrane.
    Shi-Lun Guo worked in University of California at Berkeley, USA in 1982 to 1984, and worked in University of Marburg, West Germany in 1984, 1985, 1988 and 1990. He visited Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan many times to carry out bilateral collaboration.
    Shi-Lun Guo is the winner of two awards from China National Science Congress and 4 awards from the Ministry of China National Nuclear Industry, from the Chinese Science Committee of National Defence, and from the Chinese People’s Liberation Army
    Shi-Lun Guo was the President of the International Nuclear Track Society and an Honorary member of the International Nuclear Track Society. He served as an Editorial Board member of the International journal Radiation Measurements from 1981 to 2018, and served in the Editorial Board of the Japanese journal: Journal of Radiation Research. He also was the Editorial Board Members in two Chinese journals.
